Margate in Kent is way too far away from me.

Looks like it will be a really good event for fans of the older makes and models.

I think cavaliersri130 is going now his finished his conversion to V6 of his car so there will be at least 2 cav's there but he's on a club stand called the Rat Bastards I believe.

Well the GSI made there & back without a hitch it was a good show with over 1600 cars turning up I was parked next to a 2.8 Capri on one side & a Beetle on the other. Walking around I saw a total of around 6 or7 cavs 2 other GSI's one with C20-let in it, a couple of red pre-facelift cars one had a set of 17" 5 stud Omega alloys on but looked pretty much standard other than that. Someone posted a couple of pics of my car in Cavalier Corner on facebook some of you may have already seen them. Looking ahead to next year we could probably arrange a club stand if we could get enough cars o turn up !

Sounds like you had a great day and good turn out.

As for next year.
When you say a club stand, which show are you referring to?
VBOA - Market Harborough, with all it's political challenges to attain club recognition.
VauxFest - Billing where you park next to whatever. (But no formal club stands)
Or
OhSoRetro show?

I meant Oh So Retro they had space allocated to various clubs with the number of cars I was thinking of putting it out on FB as well just as you did for Vauxfest to get all the cvas together.

Sounds like a good plan.
If they allow club stands without silly politics getting in the way, then yes - go for it.

Should I ask if you have any pictures of this year's show?
