I have decided that I am an anorak.

I recognised the car as a Chrysler Alpine.

I have had a few cars that could qualify for that show... if they hadn't gone to the garage in the sky.

(1980 Toyota Corolla mk2 in beige and a 1985 Austin Maestro 1.3L in red...).

Oh, did nobody tell you, Robsey?
I think most of us ALREADY had you down as an anorak!!!
Don't worry though - I include myself in that category too :thumb
I could have added a Y-reg yellow Metro 1.0 City and a W-reg Chevette 'Sun Hatch' to the list, now resting alongside your two.
Anyone up for this? Ticket includes one passenger for free.

My Chemistry teacher at school (1985 - 1989) had a Chrysler Alpine, it was bright orange and there was actual green moss growing on both front and rear bumpers. My form tutor had an R-reg Marina, the woodwork teacher had a V-reg Toyota HiAce van with crude windows cut in. The deputy headmaster had a V-reg Renault 18. All of which would be very welcome at the Festival, had they not been turned into coke cans 20-odd years ago....
Prior to that, I recall (at a different school) one old teacher (a Mr Wix) was still driving an Isetta bubble car. In 1984. Kind of stood out against the Mk3 and Mk4 Cortinas of his colleagues. The most 'out there' teachers car, aside from the Isetta, was an A-reg Mazda 323, which was quite a daring punt for an elderly R.E. teacher at the time.
