One for those who are within easy travelling distance of Kent. Brands Hatch, so a well known venue.

A bit far for me... :(

I notice that VBOA have tagged themselves onto this event.

Anybody thinking of going as me & the silverfox have both booked our GSI's in for a display slot, we are planning on meeting up so we can arrive & park together.

Well as it turned out for a new show I thought it was very a good location, format with the racing of a few different formula.
The interviews of John Celland & Jeff Allam, the display of various sporting Vauxhall's ranging from the 1st cavalier touring car built to the last & Baby Bertha the V8 powered Viva which all got an outing on the track during the lunch break.
The highlight for me was the chance to take the GSI around the track for a parade lap once the racing was completed.
I arranged to meet the Silverfox outside the venue so we could park together & we were the only 2 GSI's there, I saw only 2 other MK3's.
I also got the chance to park my car next to the 1st cavalier touring car & have a sit in the drivers seat for some pictures.
