VauxFest 2023 - CANCELLED !!

Looking through my windows into a cold but dry February afternoon, I thought about warmer sunny times ahead.

And that means 'show season'.

I promised myself every year since 2012 that I will drag my Cavalier kicking and screaming to the shows... but I have only been successful in 2018 and 2019 (VBOA and Vauxfest).
And VBOA only in 2021. - In the Vectra-C

So pending vehicle repairs, I "hope" to take the Cavalier this year.

Previously the show has been in the late summer, but this year, the show is in the early summer - In June.
Probably because the weather has been nicest in May and June in recent years.

Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th June 2023, at the Billing Aquadrome in Northampton.

This event has been cancelled.
Such a shame, as I like the relaxed nature of the event.

Hopefully a new venue for next year.

It has had it's issues in the past with floods and a few things being pinched, but yes a nice venue.

The missus keeps saying we ought to stay in one of the onsite holiday homes.

Ah well, it looks like I dodged that expense.

Of course it means that we won't see James and the rest of the McGrath clan this year. Which is an added disappointment.

But hopefully the rest of us will meet at VBOA in July.
