East Anglian Meet? and or Christmas Meet?

Hi everyone

Been browsing this forum and wondered if there are any plans for meets in the East Anglian Region? Even 'mini' meets?!!! lol

Also, I know some will think this a bit early but....., are there any meets planned for the Christmas Season? Thinking great ideas for pressies from 'car boots' lol. (hhmmm should be reindeer unless hoping for rain lol)

I was thinking of a mini meet at Copdock interchange Toys R us car park, After i saw a 106 meet there.

Thats the thing that annoys me slightly. Thanks to Tim, at the southampton meet a while ago, i got some flyers, and i used quite a few on some Cavs down here, but i dont think the owners bothered I even asked a couple of people, they were like no thanks ......... Its a shame that there are still so many cavaliers running but the owners arent aware of this wonderful club.

Thanks for that info. I agree with you that those drivers either are not aware or just not interested, I guess they don't know how helpful this club can be! Great support for all cavie drivers.

I guess we should just deck our cars out with loads of the OC's window decals!!

Hey brilliant idea!! Also just up from there is Anglia Indoor Karting for a bit of fun too!! I used to work there many moons ago lol. We could even get a group together and arrange a race event, for very small numbers practice sessions. Have you ever been there?

It can be and I am surprised you haven't been! They hold practice laps, Mini Races as well as Full Race Meetings. With the Race Meetings you end up taking home a trophy if you win!! lol With the practice laps you take you lap times home! My children enjoyed it when they were younger as well as now!!

Think it would be good for 'The Club' to set up a regular yearly race meet complete with trophies etc!! You can really get some speed up on the circuit, Legal too!!

Hey great!! That's 3 of us now!! Any ideas of when to meet? As Colorado suggested maybe Copdock interchange would be a good place but open to suggestions

Look on Google map. Tesco Copdock Ipswich. Its off the A12 and A14,
This is where i have in mind for the meet. The Toys r us Carpark will be the ideal place Time/Date to be arranged

when all this bloody weather has sorted itself out... ha!

the vboa autojumble is coming up in feb which will probably serve as a kind of national club meet (see the other thread) if anyone's going, but failing that i would suggest meeting sometime after that... although rather than a car park maybe we could find somewhere to coo over our cars and go for a drink of sorts? country pub type affair?
