Northwest Meet 22nd november, Anyone welcome!

Post by TurboDan »

Well a final date has been chose for the meet, 22nd November which is a sunday.

The plan is to meet at the Mcdonalds carpark at the end of the M67 and then drive over the snakes pass to this pub:

Old Post Office, The - 600 Huddersfield Rd , Haigh , Barnsley , S75 4DE

I have been to this pub before and it seemed a nice place and had a big car park.

The drive there should be nice, it won't be a race so don't worry about engine size etc.. everyone is welcome (yes including you terry if you must..)

We are meeting at 1PM at the mcdonalds carpark and leaving at about 20 past, or just meet us at the pub.

The more the merryier! :D

I'm going to say tentatively maybe!! Sorry to be so vague, but I've got a lot going on at the moment so I'm not sure!!

Also, if I pitch up in anything other than a Cav, will I come home in a box?!? Mind you, having said that, my Cav doesn't expire until the 23rd (MOT due and noooo chance of it passing another!!) Could be a nice sendoff for the old girl?!

The more cavs the better but it doesn't matter if your in another car. I know there are non-cavs coming allready.

Erm, and how would I get home, lol!! :scratch :? :D

It's possible that the rear end may be kept for future conversion into a trailer/BBQ ;) :D

I'm not too far from the Old Post Office Pub so should be able to make it. Looking forward to seeing so many Cav's together.
Is it supposed to do that?

Why do you have to drop the beam to fit an exhaust? Is it all in one piece?

Sorry as well guys, me neither!

Been having problems at work and now that im back, my shift clashes with the date of the meet.

I was hoping my problems would last a little longer(sat at home on full pay for 6 week!).

I am not going to be able to make the run, but will make it to the Old Post office - do you know roughly what time you aim to get there?
