Re: Troy's btcc replica gsi
How did u have problems with the basecoat? Basecoat rarely reacts unless you were lashing it on thick?
Re: Troy's btcc replica gsi

Jesus troy u do like to do things the hard way!
You cud of just used the white plastic that screws onto the black bit and mounted the gauges into that.
Looks good though.

Re: Troy's btcc replica gsi
The don't fit because of the bezel that surrounds them. Also I wanted the gauges to fit tight to the faceplate. I prefer the look tbh

Well today been playing with the tig welder, I'm certainly no pro at this but managing to produce something that resembles a weld.
So got to work on a rocker cover to make it resemble that of the swindon version on the btcc car

Re: Troy's btcc replica gsi
My Cavs really coming together now the inside is the cleanest I have seen in years.
Head lining is fixed, dash is all back together, all gauges work and megasquirt is fitted in the glove compartment
Just need to remove the carbon shite from the ashtray then it will be somewhere near
