Cavyman130's SRi Replacement

Post by Cavyman_130 »

Well as most of you know, the blue SRi is now sold onto a nice chap from glasgow who promised to look after her, so that left me with the replacement..................a cavalier of course! my dad and bro kindly drove me down to pick her up, all the way down in colchester! a whopping 500odd miles down and the same back......yes over a 1000miles to get a cavalier!

so your probably wondering now what she's like, well I have always wanted a white cavalier so when this came up I was a bit unsure at first but I can't fault it, its such a great car to drive, goes like a cat with a rocket up its arse and still returns 50mpg :D full vauxhall service history right up to the current mileage, practically every mot from new and a folder full of receipts. since the weather is terrible there will be no scenic shots I am afraid so these will have to do:

xe or eco?

You know you cant get white as shiny as blue, nice car.

Its in need of some badges on the centres, other than that it looks ideal

hehe nice and standard looking is the way I want to keep it, but yes it has a few "performance add ons" up its sleeve :D

true it wont be as shiny but hell you can make them look so much cleaner, loving the white! fanblades are being re-furbed so once they are done there will be a fresh set of badges going on it :D

and come on would i ever buy an eco?

no offence Anita, iv just ever been a fan of them, but of course you do get good ones as well.

the blue one was to high maintenance to be fair, paint was a nightmare to keep clean! liking the white one better, a shed load quicker, nice and smooth to drive, just loving it! of course I have not long got it so watch this space, there will be a changes :D

yeah i here what your saying, i think i got the only good engine Vauxhall ever made in the early Ecotecs  Even gaz's Vectra's went bang

Dont get me wrong it is lovely, just you know how much of a fan i was of your blue Cavalier.

i actually wanted a white GSi but sadly that won't happen for a while now, can't afford 3 cars

you'd best have that on the club stand next year, it'll break all the dark coloured cavaliers up

yeah the blue one was a nice and rare conditioned cavalier but hey ho I made sure to get another clean one, been a fan of white cavalier for a while now and the blue one was just peeing me off

plans are to tint the headlights and indicators (still unsure about this though) re-furb the alloys and get some fresh badges on it, turbo lights and rear panel on the back, some cavalier turbo leather and colour coded vectra handles, rest is spot on in my opinion :D

Nice replacement you get m8.

Keep up the subtle mods on this white one as good as you've done on the blue one (which i loved and...it had the same reg of mine - J :D ).

I'll work on mine to look so gorgeous as yours white and blue Cav's.

Cheers

Right totally confused! I must have missed something here but isn't an SRi an SRi? What's done to it...

Ok guys, let me explain, what i meant with that post is that i wish Cavyman130's SRI replacement to have the good look of the previous one (specially with those smart touches).

Sorry about the confusion
