So ECU fitting today, won't be needing any of this then

Much better

Boost pipes away for welding and forge BOV welded into hard pipe. New filter ordered as old one had MAF attached which is now no use with new ECU.

Hard pipe back from welding and forge 50mm BOV welded straight onto it, some heat wrapping of downpipe and all hangers adjusted to fit "like a glove!"

Just wiring at back of engine bay to tidy up no the fit everything back in and next week it shall be running!

So at last almost everything in place bar a couple of plugs ready for starting the engine the morra! Can't wait to get it ran in then power mapped to see the outcome of almost 9 months hard work and all my savings lol! Enjoy ladies and gentlemen!

cheers guys its been a long process but nearly there.

story so far, nice figures on initial power run with low boost and high boost, low boost showing great power at only 0.7 bar which is great, and a good curve going all the way with more to play with as the limiting factor was the turbo which is maxed out! time to go bigger! torque holds nicely for a good 3.5k which will be nice for pulling like a train.

cat is now undergoing some cosmetic bits and bobs that i felt were needed now its running, and some wiring issues to tidy up things to suit my OCD.

Cheers chief! Very happy with it and just a few small cosmetic bits to tidy up now, soon to be released onto the streets like mad max!

Final tweaks on Friday on dyno for mapping. Hopefully get some more power out of her. Into body shop on Tuesday for paint then she's done!

Fitted under tray to help keep things clean!

Yeah mate few cuts here and there but it's on haha. Push back on timings as body shop can't complete all the work until early November (going on holiday!) so in the meantime it's been getting some live mapping done on the road and is now performing even better than before! Had new facia parts for dash arrive to replace the old ones with holes in from previous switches and its looking rather smart again inside.

Image

Image

Have been doing some on road tweeks with the car and it is feeling even faster now, I had the mapping guy in the car who specialises in big power evos 500-600+ bhp driving them day in day out and he couldn't believe how fast the the car is!

Will get you out in car when you back you need to have a drive in it!

Regards

Mike

Pretty good feedback! :D

finally got rid of the washer jets to give a nice flush front end now, had to have the wing cut and adjusted to accept the lights as it was fouling the new grille, so had this cut back also , just the bumper do to next and wheels and should be ready.

Well that's the car gone into body shop now, one more week and that's it complete at last! Wheels to be painted front bumper sorted and a full machine polish to get her shining again.
