Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

Moted for another 12 months, 2 small bits of welding had to be done this year. I knew it needed doing last year really but its done now.

I don't know if you've solved the heat soak issue with the warm start yet but with my 16SV I found it good practice to remove the warm air feed from the manifold shroud to the airbox (roughly) at the end of February and replace it (roughly) at the end of October - roughly being subject to the prevailing weather conditions. Remove the actual shroud as well, I found they didn't take long to start rusting away, even from new but replace the bolts to keep the threads clean.

Another lovely motor by the way

Thanks. Mine has a K&N filter on top of the carb. I did adjust the mixture on the machine at work and turned the idle down a little and it seems to have stopped it.

3 Weeks after the mot. My handbrake cable snapped. No bother got on to GPS got 2 new GM cables, Perfect.
