George's 1.7TD

Post by blaqkaudio009 »

well heres photos of the cav today,
its a 1.7td handed from my grandad (who had it new in 1995) to my mum, then from my mum to me :D
not much extreme modding yet, mostly just tidying up which included
seat covers
mutant CD player and Mutant speakers in the back
gear Knob
gear stick and handbrake lether gaitors
crome and black pedals
brighter headlights
15'' alloys (had just paid £1200 for insurance, wasnt going to add more with bigger rims, so got 5 spoke with vauxhall badge on)
little silver things over the vents

then decided to start little mods to make it my own so then came
black indicators on front and all black lights on the back (no hassle from cops around here, there more after the chavs in town)
debadged and re-badged with 'george' - so i remember which one is mine :D
backbox
vinyls on sides and hood (found a picture and played with it too make it unique)
air filter
green undercar neons
green interior neons
bodykit - which im working on atm, hopefully putting it on at the weekend if i have time. thats the reason for the front looking beat up!
thats about it thinking off the top of my head, im looking for modding to mod the engine now.
i know its of a certain taste, but hey, im 19 and work in a primary school

i need to tidy up the engine aswell, or a ruddy good clean at least!

thats all for now

oh and the main reason for the body kit is that my mum drove into the car, you can see the damage in the third photo on the bumper.

yeah sorry about that, when i can i will sort that out.
but do you think it would be worth stripping and selling the bits? how much do you usually make doing that,? cuz bits like the angel eye headlights were quite pricey
