PV07.Ran a 14.9@95 mph
The engine is fairly standard from an Omega but for this lot;
Comp ratio is set at 11:1,
Heads lightly ported,
Standard Cav V6 intake manifold,
Omega lower divider(this is made from a plastic type material rather than the normal ally version on the Cavs,helps keep the manifold cooler)
Pipercross air filter with cold air feed
Decatted
Cast ally sump
3.8 bar PRV
I fit my old 15 in rims with 205/50/15 tyres for the track as this lowers the gearing some.The rears are the std 195/14s.
The front end is lowered 25mm or so, the rear is std, in a bid to keep the weight transfer off the front to a minimum.
I also dial my Koni dampers to fully hard rebound on the front and full soft on the rear for the same reason.
You can see from the pic at Santa Pod that the back of the car is in the air.
If the track is good i get reasonable traction, my best 60ft time is 2.3 secs, the Toyo tyres i hope will improve this.
