Thanks :thumb .The Astra probley should have not pulled the Cav and trailer. It was a short 10 min drive across town. The car did manage to pull it with no problems tho.

The car is booked in for its MOT tomorro at the Vaux garage up here in Shetland. Im getting them to sort the hand brake as its not working as it should. Then it should pass the MOT no problem again this year.

Ah, good idea! :)
Though, I can't really see it failing on anything major - can you?

The car passed!!!!! :D :D but got a couple of advsories tho. The joints in the stainless steel exhaust are leaking a small amount and the metal joints on the rear flexy brake pipes are rusted. Only done 2214 miles since last mot. The foke in the garage were impressed with the car, but before seeing it this morning . The bloke was not going to beleave it would only need the hand brake adajusted to pass, because it was a K reg car. Untill it came out side and seen the car. Then he soon changed his mind.

Not been on here in a wile. Been busy with work. The cav is now off the road for the winter the tax ran out at the end of last month. It is tucked away in a huge shed under a cover not to been seen till march/ april next year.

The last and current MOT was done at the Vauxhall garage in Shetland. Then the time before was Vauxhall in Elgin.

Well got the car back this morning. I pulled cover off the car, unlocked it, opened bonnet, conected the battery, got in car turned the key and it startted first time. :thumb Sounded spot on, no red top tapping even after not running for 6 months.

Image

Need to tax it next month and it will be ready for the road again. Ill have a few wee jobs to do this year on the car. A few minuntes after taking the pic the rain started. So the Cav will have to wait for a wash and polish.

The sun was out today so the Cav got it first wash, polish and wax in a very long time. Made me smile seeing it shine again.
