Well since funds are tight at the moment an I don't have any spare cash to splash on the old girl and I've been itching to tinker with it I had a rummage through my stuff and found some white insert trim tape I used on my old mk2 an thought hmm I want to change the colour its free let's see what it looks like so what do you lot think? And before any one says I am NOT doing red its common as hell lol :p

Well that's pretty much I was thinking either white wheels an black calipers or anthracite or grey wheels with white calipers

I've got another colour to try to so will give that ago at the weekend :)

Yes mate I did I tried a nice violet/purple and have decided to go with that colour as it looks nice against the black and it won't stand out like a sore thumb like the white will which is the effect I want to achieve basically I'm going for an OEM+ look ;)

I'll get a picture up for you in abit mate ;)

Here we go I like it comments welcome

The image I have in mind is purple trim making the SRi badges the same purple and the brake calipers remove badges on boot relocating the SRi badge changing that to purple also I have an idea I'm toying with for the tailgate/spoiler but we will see on that one then having the badges redone so they have purple griffin's on the black background eventually running on silver cesaro's ;)

Agains opinion/comments welcome :thumb

Nice work Jimmy, really like the purple bumper trims!

Loose the orange / amber repeaters though mate, get some smoked ones on and it will look much better :thumb

Well not much of an update

Put a new clutch cable on due the other fraying an ready to completely snap took me about an hour-ish to do as I had an extra pair of hands found the most time was spent at the pedal end from not having any room so frustrating :wall :wall :wall

Also put a new rocker gasket on as I noticed a slight leak around that area some moron had put the previous one on with silicon sealer to :wall I also gave what I think is the ICV a good clean out to things are running smoother an feels a little better to drive

Next up is hopefully give it a dam good service as its desperate for one!

Edit: also fitted a pair of xenon side light bulbs hopefully get some for the head an fog lights soon :)

WTF...

Some people huh, guess it was leaking and the muppet didnt have the brains to just go buy a new gasket!, mine has been leaking a bit again but have alloy bolts so needed taking out a quick clean and new washers..

Good to hear the car coming on mate :thumb

Looking good and i wouldn't have picked purple for the insrerts myself but it works well with the black. Nice one. ;)
As for the colour of your alloys. Tough one! Personally i'd go for one of etheir the greys or the anthracite.

Thanks guys :)

@ rustyarches my thoughts exactly fella everybody does red or black roof an lately it seems to be pink roof an alloys so thought I'd try an take a different approach keeping it as OEM as possible.
