I am happy with how it sits, its low but its not scraping the ground low which suits my driving. yeah got the centre caps, I am half way through painting them, they had a naff finish on them.

Back end looks fantastic....something odd about the front? Might be the mix of late lights and wipers, not bad, just looks odd to me.

what wheels you going for mate?

Thanks buddy, mines is one of the first V6's, it came with the headlight wipers as standard, nothing has been changed there. I like it though, add to the rarity of the model.

I was looking at the car last night and I realised I had put the big nut on the bottom instead of the top  ah well, you learn from your mistakes I guess, will sort them out at the weekend. guessing I will need to take the strut out again? unless I can get spring compressors on the springs while the strut stays put. I will give it a bash.

Easy to do! And even easier to fix, just undo them both from under the bonnet, the weight of the car is keeping the springs down

some additional items for the cavalier arrived yesterday:

New GM bonnet cable and pull
Full set of front and rear Heko wind reflectors
Set of white LED speedo bulbs to replace those nasty yellow ones.
Set of Black Tailored car mats.

last few bits will be sorted out this weekend, switch the strut top bolts, replace the bonnet cable, adjust handbrake cable and give the car a once over check, make sure all lights etc. are in full working order.

Question for anyone reading this, the more I look at the wheels the more I like them without the centre caps, what is your opinion on this?

weekend update, new bonnet cable fitted, only took about 10 minutes to change, now it pops open like it should :thumb changed the bolts over on the top mounts, they now sit the way they should. cleaned out the interior and fitted my new mats. fitted my set of wind deflectors. touched a few bits here and there up. fitted the centre caps, one side is badged, the other isn't. they will be going opel but just wanted to see what they were like first. gave the car a check over and buffed it up.
