right got my fuel comp fitted and working and on a run on the m8 im getting 49.5 mpg
should the comp light up when your lights are on ? and ive noticed since fitting the lights on the heater controls are not working could there be a plug out the rear of the unit ? or is it just the bulbs that have poss gone ? or a fuse?

More likely bulbs than anything else
"No the temperature gauge doesn't work........
we've driven 150 miles today........
the heater went cold last Thursday........
they check the level when it's serviced don't they?"

well ive put off the arches for now as im going to wait on the better weather coming  but i have solved the water coming into the car the rubber seal around the fan motor (under the scuttle panel) took off the plastic guard and stuck a new seal on it,silicone as well and no water seams to be coming into the car now and its being hissing down with rain all morning.Tommorow i will be putting the sound proofing and carpets back in and all the trim back on
