This isnt FK light, its DEPO. They are pretty much the same, except DEPO costs 150£ and FK 350£ in norway. I reccon black lights fits best with a dark coloured car.gsi pie wrote:looking good dude

I think the dark coloured lights look good on the dark coloured car.

Need a clean up off loose connectors.
On the backside of the engine hang a lose connector, what is this for?
This is located where the ECU connector is ( paperclip test ) This are spare ones that is not in used, but what are they for?

Re: C20ne Vectra A
I had the same question a while back, mine were just under the cover at the rear of the engine bay and apparently are extra plugs for the 4x4 system on the Turbo etc and maybe standard Vauxhall alarm system.
Most of the higher spec cars shared looms with Gsi / Turbo cars so if yours is a Gls spec or higher you will find random plugs all over the place.
Dont hold me to this but I am sure one of the guys more competant on the Vauxhall looms will be able to let you know for sure.

Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Re: C20ne Vectra A
Look at the yellow plug behind it, will say 95/91 or 95/98 there will be an 8 pin plug next to that.kriegheim wrote:Ok, but the one behind the engine is supposed to be somewhere i think?Envoy CDX wrote:Standard alarm wring from the looms of it.

Re: C20ne Vectra A
That is for a 2 pin Oil Preasure sender, that is the wire for the second pin which is a signal wire for an oil preasure gauge on the dashboard which you may or may not have.
Re: C20ne Vectra A
Ahh, nice, just bought the oil pressure gauge on ebay, just need another sender.TurboDan wrote:That is for a 2 pin Oil Preasure sender, that is the wire for the second pin which is a signal wire for an oil preasure gauge on the dashboard which you may or may not have.

Re: C20ne Vectra A
Yup that'll do it, although you can buy them cheaper
Re: C20ne Vectra A
Got my turbo lights on
And the gauges fit perfectly, even if they were from a RHD. Some minor scratches, but got them cheap, and a additional cluster came with it.

Re: C20ne Vectra A
Is there a easy way to take out the box where the gauges are? Or do i have to remove the whole dash?
I think there is a box mounted to the surround, but not sure. Any tips?

Just couple of new pics.
Re: C20ne Vectra A
Its a bit of a sod, you need to pull out the heater controls and the ashtray to get that section outkriegheim wrote:Is there a easy way to take out the box where the gauges are? Or do i have to remove the whole dash?
