gaz - i did think about them but idealy i would like to try and keep to vaux as much as i possably can if that makes sence, i know that the only possable thing that in going to use that is not vaux is the side skirt extenstion which is going to be bmw 3 series side skirts but im not going to be using much of the side skirts (i hope)

Wouldn't Vectra B headlights 'fit' OK? They have a similar styling to the Tigra lights, and as far as I know they are good for dishing out light?

if you fancy something different you could always take the xenon headlamps out of an omega elite and fit them to your cav. with a bit of work they can fit. it's not to everyone's taste, certainly not mine, but someone i know did it and was very pleased with the results. a kind of omega/cavalier hybrid!!

well unfrotunatly (spelling i think) i only got to spemd a couple of hours on the car today but i managed to get the drivers side skirt done at last lol

just need to be primered now

i also managed to mesure 3series side skirt length wise and here are the mesurements

cav 65 inches
bmw 3 series 68 inches

so with a bit of modding to get them to fit they will go on yippie

i mesured how high it will be off the floor at the back with the 15's on and with a bit of a flat tyre it will be 3 and a half inches off the floor lol

i will get the back tyre pumped up and i will mesure it again to be fully sure but i think it will be approx 4 inches lol

anyway heres the pic's (sorry some of them are a bit dark)

as i said yesterday i will get some better picks of the side skirt i go has lol

i also moved the cav across a bit so i can get in so i can finnish riviting the passenger side skirt on (i had to jack the car up and drag it acroos as the cav wont start, but the engine still moves so that saves me stripping it yet lol) im not really bothered about the engine yet

i have also found a couple of bits on the skirt that had a few holes in that i could not see yesterday as it was dark so i have put i little bit if filler on them just need rubbing down now, then it will be all done on the passenger side

anyway heres the pic's

i now have a front bumper lol

i cut the bumper behind the vents so the air could flow through the bumper and i had to take one of the bolts out that hold the bumper to the car, i could not get it out so i had my old bumper beam i replaced the leg as i could not get the beam out of the shed, i only could reach to undo the bolt that hold the leg on lol

the pic's are in no order

think you need a bit of a splitter on the front of the bumper to smooth into the vents across just under the fog lights

That kind of thing

as at the moment i think they stick out a touch too much for me.

i only managed to get a lttle bit done to day as i was biulding my old compressor so that it will fill back up quicker lol eg when i use the da sander i have stop stop and wait fr it to fill back up as the moter was not working proparly

so when i have rebiult it it will be used on the cav yippie less hard work lol

i have started to smooth the bumper and the towing eye cover (i will be getting one that i can put in the big mouth so i still have a towing eye on the front)

heres the pic's

front bumper now bolted on

well done a bit more today (no suprise lol)

i have finnished the line above the fogs and started on the line at the top of the bumper

i have also put the stickers on the car (cc and car of the month nov 08)

i will be taking them back off to change them to orange but i thought i would stick them on as loads of people that walk passed it so you never know people might sign up (spread it by mouth lol)

any way heres the pic's
