Good to see those seats being put to use, what did you use to clean them with ? Looks like they came up really well. :thumb

Yeah they will be getting well used when she's back in the road.
I used foam cleaner and a vax, they really did come up well.

Must admit, I do enjoy watching projects like these, where someone really goes the extra mile in stripping everything to get to the bare essentials and work from there... Kind of motivates me to do the same.....

Very well done so far mate.

Oh and don't get me started on foam cleaner, I practically cleaned the whole engine bay with the stuff on my auto :D

Cavalier is nearly finished I would say 98 % there, I only have a few more bits to do on here like fit Gsi kit once painted and spoiler.
Also brake shoes, then that's it.
But she's away now for the winter had a good chat with the other half she wants to keep astra out as winter car and leave cav tucked away.
Can't blame her really she's made a good point snow and salt doesn't fare well with these old birds so she'll be back for the summer next year 100% complete.

Just brought these off eBay cavs new Alloys could resist she looks good on them and with these I now have a set of five.
Best thing is I paid £50 and they are local.

Also my cdx wheels will be going up free to collector soon they need a full refurb and I mean full they gave no paint left on them they were that corroded.

Cavalier came out today for fresh air and a new sticker.
Old school on the front wing :)

I also decided to see what spoiler looks best and see how Gsi skirts fair up.

She also got to meet the astra.

I'd probably say standard as well. That guy next to the Mondeo in the high vis looks like he's puzzled by something...

Next year sometimes I hope I've come close to getting her on the road but I'm not satisfied enough yet, plus I'm hoping my other half gets her license next year so she can have the astra and I'll drive the cavalier.

Just realised mate. Those arent expression wheels!

If they are 15" then they are the stupidly rare Astra GTE Champion wheels, Worth a fare bit to the right person.

The ones on your car in the last photo are expression wheels, the ones in the photo of just the wheels are champion one, the way to tell is expressions spokes go all the way to the rim, Champion ones dont.

Follow the spokes out Dan, one set touches the inside of the rim that has the tyre on it, the other ends short. I would never have spotted that.

I'm guessing that Champion wheels are 15 inch and expression wheels are 14 inch then.
