agree about the ice cav speakers do seem to lack abit of depth to the sound the make lol
thats gonna be about it for the mods to the blue one it just inherited a few odds and ends that were used on the black one in the past.

Nice work there what was up with the red top on carbs it would probs be just as fast as the v6? Looks a tidy gsi you got there.

Only thing ad change is the lamps and fog lamps on black one!

wanted a change had the v6 sitting around out of a vectra i had just broke for bits,plus selling the carbs and redtop frees up some money for other things,have taken the big spots off now and put a early grill on it got most the wiring done just need to figer out what wires what on the round plug next to where the battery was on the cavs loom.

finally got the v6 wiring done and the exhaust made on the black one ,taken a lot of time due to health problems am in 2 minds at the moment about if i should either sell it or brake it or carry on slowly when i can but this is how it stands for the moment:

also managed to put a hole in the gearbox sump on the blue one going over one of them metal flick up flaps coming out of a car park:

16v wheels off a renault if im not mistaken,i had a set on my mk2 astra years ago.

Get the standard gsi grill back on that looks rank! But great work on the v6 mate Hows it run

it runs great,its much better in this with the smaller fly wheel and the f20,it goes like a rocket compared to when it used to be in the vectra surprised me how much more it pulls over the old carbed redtop that i used to have in it :thumb

ah lighter flywheel must make a good deference then my cav redtop feels faster than my old vectra gsi v6 great but just felt lazy!

Yeah it seems to rev much more freely ,and the f20 box being closer ratio helps a lot ,I think I would hit the rev limiter in 5th easly because there still seems to be a lot of pull when your in 5th

done a few more bits ,tried to make the engine look more at home and also got some cobra seats for a bargain price of 50 quid!
