I just wired the switch up so ive got 2 spare oe switches to hand to do whatever i want. plus i didn't want blanks in my dash, its really easy to wire them up when you already have the plugs and wiring so alll you need to do pop out the pins and the locking pin and solder in the earth and illumination to the the rear window switch and the live to the heater control (as the heated rear doesnt have a live as its got an in and an out to the relay) and a wire out to whatever you want but they are only really good enough to trip a relay.
I had these switches before i even owned a cavalier, found them under my seat in my vectra when i broke it.

Couple of years ago i bought some gsxr 750 throttle bodies on a whim, (like most of my stuff) they taper nicely like most of the top end bodies at a fraction of the price. The joys of these specific ones are that they separate easily and they needed to be spaced 13mm to match the vauxhall spacing

They came with lots of extra stuff like duel electronic flaps that needed removing and blanking off. I had to drill and tap the old flap holes and inserted some m8 bolts into the holes with some time on the bench grinder and finishing with a dremel they were sitting flush added some permanent threadlock so they never go anywhere ever again.

as id spaced them i needed to extend the throttle flaps, i expoxy and riveted them on, needed to tweek the balance but nothing major, ive got a cut down inlet manifold i need to modify

Ive got some trumpets i need to make fit but need to find someone to cut them down on a lathe or a milling machine as they are tapered and i dont want any steps in the inlet , any takers?

My new exhaust, looks a fair bit cleaner than the old one that i never got sitting perfectly.

Fitted nova eibach rear springs and shocks, tbh other than on a smooth road they are a bit crashy, handles well but im too old for rides like that.

Troy what did your megasquirt cost you in the end, as looking at the prices it seems to be just as expensive as an off the shelf ecu
