Gosh! so long between updates!
Good old Dippy XE passed it's 10th MOT today during my ownership. couple of advises for once (as a new MOT ticket guy - where I go, did the test, he's far too keen! Car was older than him mind!) nothing major though, now on 205000, no welding yet.
Advise both front tyres worn on inner edge (yep, just fitted those as they are the only wheels I have left not egg shaped from the Eastleigh pot holes)
Advise RHR arch slightly rusty (yeah they both are on the edges!)
Advise LH front damper shows slight misting of oil (yep, Konis still damp, weren't new when I fitted em)
Advise oil leak (yep, xe crank seal holder has a cracked thread, did have when I built it too, didn't have a spare one back in 05', the leak is keeping the rust at bay on the chassis rails...)
Everything else was epic, matey loved it. We had to explain to him not to bother with the emissions test due to the wrong engine fitted. he will remember for next year...
It's recently had a new heater blower and resistor, which has helped no end and I have sorted a water leak into the passenger floor pan from the scuttle which was giving me the dog, so it's nearly back to full health again.
So, it lives to fight the potholes for another year, although I must crack on with some minor paintwork and a few other TLC items.

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

Yeah, don't look like I will be scrapping this one any time soon it seems.
