Vauxhall cavalier L f reg saloon gsi rep two tone project.

Post by cavaliersri130 »

I have owned this little girl for just 3 weeks now and she's such a nice little cav, only haveing just over 52k miles on the clock and service history to proove, yeah she's a 1.6 but hey ho she's cheap to run and i like it, got poke for a 1.6 carb engine.

When i got her she was missing a wing mirror on the drivers side and had to put one of mine on it was in white, and she needed a good clean and polish that was it really.

She does however have a few minor silly things like a oil leak from the drain plug easy fix on next oil service just replace the washer ring, and the rust on the sill just needs grinding out and then treating it's minor really.

O and the headliging was naffed so i took it out just waiting to redo it now with new cloth.

I have so far since having her painted the wing mirrors and grill black,
Fitted the gsi front bumper in black i like my two tone lol,
Fitted a racetube and v6 back box that was rusting on the envoy as it never moved anymore,
Painted the headlights black inside and fitted hid bulbs and red led side lights.

Next week i will be getting my gsi side skirts and rear bumper with the off of terkin :) can't wait then i will be painting them black and fitting them with mudflaps.
If the cavalier envoy doesn't sell as a whole then i will strip the interior out and the 40mm springs and fitting it all in her but would rather get the leather interior for her or the grey gsi as it's not really that different to the colour of the trim in her.

Her are some pics of her over the weeks.

fudge the rear lights, you need wheels before anything, GSI slabs or anything will suit it better when your funds can provide mate , looks clean for a preface tho :thumb

How much will you be wanting for the lights?

And if i can make anymore money before next week when i pick up the kit i'll have them if not i'll have them once i get the money from either scrapping the envoy or selling bits'.

Plus i need to sell the fogs if not i might keep them now to put back on to her. and wire them in this time instead of leaving the wires dragging along the road.
