Adams 1.8 LSi Saloon WIP

Hello all.
This is my WIP (Work In Progress) for my 1994, Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8 LSi Saloon.
Its a 1798cc, 8valve, Single point injection.
She's currently wearing Vauxhall Kings blue (22L).
Has covered 138k+ miles
As far as i have researched she was a fleet car from new until she was bought via auction.
I'm the 4th owner.
Ironically, she was destined for destruction to begin with.
As a donor vehicle for the red Cavalier hatch, which is now in Garys (Envoy CDX) ownership.
Having routed around undernieth the newly bought saloon, it would have been a shame to break her.
As it was found to be solid.
As with most Cavaliers her age, and older.
There was some corrosion to sort out, however nothing too serious.
So it was decided she was a keeper.
Picked up from Harrogate, ready for her return with me back to Darlington.
On arriving back at Darlington, she was inspected and the following found:
Water pump seal, leaking.
Clutch pedal mega-heavy.
Alarming rust bubble on the roof.
Wind screen rubber, pulled out in corner. (repaired now)
Head light steamed up.
There have been other issues which have came to light since.
CV joint(s) require replacing.
Front wheel bearings shot.
Timing out.
Mis-firing.
New home for now.
Rust bubble on roof, being investigated and tackled.
So the Cavalier sat a week or so with no attenton.
Then came the mini-meet between myself and Gary as we cracked on with a few jobs on the Cavalier(s)
Investigating why clutch is mega heavy
We never found the reason for the clutch benig mega-heavy.
However we've both decided it requires the box being dropped out.
While its out a new clutch kit may be going in.
Some work on the clutch release mechanism is going to be looked at too.
The aftermarket suspension from the red hatch has been swap to the blue cav.
There is now a custom back box from the hatch on the saloon and straight pipe, not too loud.
Rather nice actually.
However being from a hatch the back boxes tail doesn't clear the rear bumper.
Which will have to be dealt via a cut and weld mod to the backbox.
Or a new replacement back.
