Ok so all is not lost.

My mate can sort it out very easily bought new sills, new arches and he can sort the lower quarter and rear panel.

The car goes next week so should all be sorted by the weekend after next then the engine rebuild and body work prep cam start..

All the panels arrived yesterday so I'm just waiting on my mate to turn up with his transporter to take the car away. Should be gone soon.

Just a little update.

I now have all the interior sorted. Have all the black plastics and the leather as well as a black dash.

I have also purchased a Saab Turbo donor car for the engine etc.

The car goes of to be welded on Sat morning so I can sort out the garage ready for the C20 XE to be removed and the body work can then start.

I'll post up some more pics soon..

All the welding has been done and the car is being dropped off tonight.

my mate that did the welding has took around 40 pics of the work so once i get them i'll post them up.

Quick question..

What would cause the drivers side front foot well to be totally wet we're talking the carpet is dripping..

Check the bulkhead under the dash as ive seen a lot of cavs and calibras go there!!

Nice work mate.... as said about typical for a GSI i bought a J plate gsi once J775KCR and the rust was a nightmare but fixable just like J199 BWB keep up the good work!
