I got a loom adaptor from another member on migweb. Involves wiring up the lives, but you have to wire up your own auxilary loom. But to do it neatly your chasing wires and got alot of taping to do ha.

Couple more pics. Most of the work done was under the car or wiring.

Its actuall quite easy, its only fiddly with where to put everything.
Mine took abit longer than the last one i did but it looks so much more original.wirings abit of a nightmare though!
Engine itself bolts straight in ;-)

Sounds the same as when i done the Arh conversion bits are fiddly drops straight in but wiring got me and made my job longer.
I would love to do this conversion but I'm too lazy now with all that sort of stuff lol.
Maybe one day.

Plenty of room left over for an AF20 :D

Must admit, the engine seems to look at home in there, i.e. not too cramped. Very well done on the project so far, I may get to your skill level one day, never know.

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

Thanks. I like to make things look at home, ive always been an oem look person. I hate things looking out of place/modified.
As for skill level, its peices of metal, can always be changed/fixed. See the good parts not the bad if you get what i mean :-)
I dont know of anyone putting an auto in, i think the saab auto box is very similar to af20. You could be th first to do it ha!!

Id consider it, done plenty of conversions for and with friends! Starting the same one for my brother next week.
The only problems or worries i have is no matter what theres always a few teething problems which the distance between us would make it awkward!

Cover my fuel and abit of beer/food money ill come up and help you do it!

Good stuff! I'm thinking of trying to find a Envoy saloon as a base car now. As its already manual, and has no sunfoof and manual window doors. Idea for a BTCC replica, Plus Enoy insurance is cheaper than a V6. Means I can sell the V6 on, once I've tidied it up.

:thumb

Great sleeper, I'd get some 5 stud steel wheels for it!

Ye that would be good! What engine would you be using for the rep?

Steel wheels - it has crossed my mind but i think it needs to be abit faster first to scare off a few exotic cars ;-)
An old cav with steelies beating an r8, now thats my liking!
