Shame there's no shield for the intercooler. I'd have put in a fine mesh in the bumper just to keep larger stones/debris from damaging it. Looks good though.

thats some intercooler Mark. and i like the way the oil coolers have been fitted, a really nice cav turbo. Ads

Thanks mate. Yeah the intercooler is a bit of a beast lol. I was thinking about re-fitting the fogs until I realised that they are removed for the oil-cooler cooling.

Also the bumper is quite modified compared to a standard one

I think it looks better with the facelift badged grill + more of the intercooler on show.

looks well Mark, but i think it needs peice of mesh in front of the intercooler, preferebly black, but the cav looks really good, keep up the good work. wish i had the time or inclination to do some work on mine, i navnt even seen it in weeks, and its only in the garage outside, Ads

I know what you are saying, but I am not a fan of mesh as it gets stone chipped and shows silver metal through it. I need to have a think what I can do, as I love the intercooler on display.

I know what you mean about having inspiration I had totally lost all inspiration with the Astra, but I cannot wait to work on the Cavalier at the weekend

The position. Looking at it against the rows of the intercooler it looks like it's on the piss.

I had spotted that when I mounted it, but it is square with the top of the bumper so I need to see what I can do as it might leave a gap at one end of the number plate compared to the other... Bit of a strange one, but I ran out of time yesterday to play about.

Suggestions on other positions?

It's on brackets so that it can be removed at shows

What about the square license plates that you see on some big mouth bumpers? I know it doesn't look symmetrical but at least the intercooler will be on display.

Re-did the mounts on the front bumper as the number plate wasn't quite sitting level when you looked at it compared to the intercooler even though it was square to the top of the bumper. Looks better anyway.

Also fitted a Turbo back panel and pressed plate. Ran out of time to de-tango the lights though.

I didn't spot it before, but have you Photoshopped your reg plate? Looks like you've erased the character between 3 and R. Is that so that we can work out what it's supposed to say?! #thickos

Yeah I have Photoshopped a number out so that people do not know the actual registration number, but it is close enough in the pictures to know what it says in real life
