Some news I've decided to keep the car and have given up ideas of a different saloon, Peugeot 309, mk2 Orion, Astra Belmont were what I was thinking
Also got some new lights as said about I the other Wip

Just the grill, rear pannel and fogs to complete the look

Good choice, although I like Orions, purely because of the trunk, I'd still stick with the Cavalier. Can't go wrong.

Yeah the Orions do have a large boot area, would have loved a 1.6 Ghia but cav will be super nice when done, loving it more with just the GSi tail lamps if I'm honest, although it's staying as is until the L is fully sorted...

Just got to wait for some decent warm weather to change interior bits, dash etc. but do have a non car related small project to keep me going

I need to put a new battery on this and was wondering if this one will be alright? It fits in the tray and I just need it to power the alarm, central locking and the occasional startup.

100 battery will be fine..... keep it topped up though as they don't like sitting around doing nothing.

Started the cav up for the first time since about October, it started on the first turn of the key and didnt need anything other than a battery as I took the old one for the L.

The illuminated visors have been removed and the standard sun visors have been put back in,

I took the visors out and put them in the L a little while ago as the project was put on hold, I decided to add this information and images as the car is now in the For Sale section due to needing the space on the drive.
