My Cavalier turbo

Post by dazzy130 »

As some of you guys know this one was my late dad's, my brother bought the car back in 2007 off thurlby motor's as a trade in from a guy that had owned her since 1996, anyway my brother decided to sell it in 2009 so Dad bought her, he absolutely love this car, but sadly died in feb 2013 the car was then laid up and put into storage been used every so often. I kinda decided it was time to move her on, and had arranged a sale, had a guy that had agreed to buy her, but when reality set in I just couldn't do it, so am selling my Burg instead

So here I am raring to go, going to proper mint her and get her proper sorted heres some pics of how shes stands now, already go her booked into the paint shop as a couple of bits need a tidy up, 2 brand new front indicators and a head lamp and some nice smoked side repeaters have already been bought

Long term plan is a 30mm drop on billys, locked box abd some white 17's either veccy revolutions of phase 1 gsi wheels

The car looks mint. I would be tempted to leave it standered if it was mine.

standard just isn't me however the only visual change will be wheels and suspension which can always been changed back, every other visual aspect of the car will be totally as it is just mint :thumb

Mate she is beautiful. I agree on leaving it standard but a few subtle mods probably won't hurt much.

I like the standard look, mine is standard on the outside, and near enough standard interior, apart from a few extra gauges, its under the bonnet where mines different, with all the chrome and blue hoses, Ads

good work on the cav mate, well done, and as nice as them wheels are, a cav turbo looks much better on the standard wheels, but that's only my opinion, and its your cav, Ads

well guys got her back from the paint shop, all nice and mint, had to buy some new turbo pipes as most of the old ones are collapsing when there warm, treat her to some roose motor-sport ones in black, also still the new mudflaps, and a couple of engine bits to fit, then it a proper clean up, going to get the power polisher out and give a proper detail :love

Just a couple of pics from today's action, fitted new gaiter's and put some nice leather conditioning cream

Just need a new handbrake sleeve
