Cavalier 1.8i
Just picked up a cavalier 1.8i for a bargain £150!!! It has a few dings and scuffs but drives really well. So far I have upgraded the bulbs to brighter ones, and fitted a mushroom filter that I picked up from halfords where I work for £2. Plans are to makes it as quick and fun as possible on a budget. C20xe, speedlines and spax suspension maybe??

Very clean mate, personally I'd remove, shred and set on fire those hub caps and snatch a set of original ones on there...
Bargain nonetheless, I do love those barn door simple 8 valvers.

What a bargain! certainly worth it at £150, you noticed much difference in performance after changing the filter?

Have that on mine but I have removed the resonator pipe work underneath, plan to run a cold air duct to front end..Sim Dhillon wrote: Not really pal, if anything I think it's made it worse!! I'm going to put the airbox back on with a k&n panel filter
Sounds really nice but then I have a stainless Magnex exhaust system on mine too..

I took it on a 100 mile round trip last week and it was spot on. Smooth and comfortable never missed a beat!
