I do have a solitary stopper. I can check the part number on it fit you.vaux16v wrote:I have the motors which i got in Germany and i restored my headlight wiper arms the other day which ended up a nice job. But the stoppers holding me back from fitting them.
Maybe i could make a replica set.

I presume inner and outer rear arches...
I got my parts from Carz2.
They have a lot of reasonable Klokkerholme parts for the Cavalier.

Re: Cavalier restoration
So after months, I managed to get some clearing done in the garage, in fact the
Whole day. Did I miss the footie..? Anyways, what a nightmare and that’s just half a side..
I think I got around 4-5 digital displays... lcd manual and electrical diagram - it’s in German!
Multiple spare plastic trims..many boxes
Countless number of gsi fuel displays.. inc German one’s..switches, knobs, steering wheels, also found a calibra dash...mmm?
Also some of the new old stock parts...previously mentioned
The best is small box full of emblems which are hard to get hold nowadays... and brand new rear turbo clusters/panels
I also got a brand set of fogs cdi/sri that I need to sell...
I need to sell some other stuff as it’s just toooo much... but first I need to make some round trips to the recycling yard.... then the other half.

Re: Cavalier restoration
Give me a nudge if you find the seat rail rear end caps...
They are the only thing missing from my interior.
It is amazing what you find...
I know I have a tired GSi fuel computer, half a digi dash, a dual info display, an analogue clock and various service items.
I could do with a sort out, but don't have the heart to part with anything.

Re: Cavalier restoration
Slow progress... zzZ
I’be managed to source a few original gm panels for the next phase, including a brand new bonnet boxed - old one had Astra gsi vents.
Finalled Sourced some original set of gm mud flaps!

Re: Cavalier restoration
Guys does anyone know the correct parts no. for the following items for a saloon cavalier. TIA
A) indicator stalk
B) front wind screen wiper stalk
A) indicator stalk
B) front wind screen wiper stalk
Re: Cavalier restoration
For a saloon, the indicator, main-beam stalk should be the same as the hatch,
So Cavalier Mk3 Indicator, main beam stalk without cruise-control buttons is part number :- 9181010
The body type is relevant for the wiper switch. (No rear wiper).
Part number for wiper switch without variable delay and without computer buttons is :- 1241131
Not many "GM Original" parts available new, but plenty of third party brands still available.
The indicator switch is reported available from Genuine Parts Search at a cost of £50.70.
Most ebay non-branded parts are available for a lot less than that for both.

Hi folks. Fabrication works completed... well 99%
Please take a look and leave a commit on the earlier link. There’s a saloon turbo and hatch Sri to keep everyone happy...

Yes, I have been watching the facebook page.
I see it is up to the primed stage.
Not far to go now.
