things to do:

get endplate gasket for box
wire up fuel relay
fit water hose
install pas pump (somehow)

Sourced hose for the header tank to the main block £2.20 for 3 foot.
Ordered a new end plate gasket £10.75

Pretty much had to sell my arse for the cash too..

Anyhow, picked up the gasket this morning.

Going to have lunch then hopefully fit the gasket and top up he box.

Now fitted and what a tart it was to fit... Hopefully I did it right, no obvious leaks at the minute so good news from where i'm sitting

I personally hate the stuff, but if its what its going to take.. then so be it.

How long do I need to let it set before I drive the car?

it will just need a smear rather than a huge coating of it, id leave it a couple of hours,

It probably takes a day to fully harden but should be useable in a couple of hours

Gearbox opened and resealed the 24th
Corsa C 15" alloy wheels fitted on the 26th





Fitted an Astra MK4 Short stick - changes the feel alot on the 3rd of Feb

I think that's about it for now.

dunno about you but when i fitted my engine is crossed my mind as to
"what the f*ck am i doing messing around with a couple of hundred pound car in the wind and rain!!" the neighbours must think I'm mad!!
