Well, discovered the arches aren't as bad as first thought and..
Fitted new breather pipe as the other perished and pissed oil out - also cleaned pickup pipe.
Fitted new front pads (genuine vauxhall £14.83 - or around there)
Much happier

Well, I got bored at the service station this morning (00:20) after I had a coffee and set about fitting the Omega variable wiper stalk.
All very good fun - not as usefull as I thought it would be, but it has also given me a few extra buttons to play with

Might still have one, but we'll sort that out at PVS, might even be nice enough to fit it for you too.Paul wrote:

Well, fitted my Nokia car kit supplied for a very nice price by Dave's Cavy.
Took some routing of cables, and I'm still not happy with it, so no doubt it will come to peices again until I get it right

Re: 1992 - Smoke Grey 1.8i LS Cavalier WIP
Well,
I've wired in most of my GPS kit now, running up the a pillar, re-routed most of the car Nokia Car kit so it's reasonably hidden.
Need to really start looking at the exterior of the car, get the stone chipps sorted, the car washed and heavily polished - and a good layer of wax to seal it in.

Well, Vectra door handles fitted - need to work out how to release the door locks from the back plated to swap over.
Re: 1992 - Smoke Grey 1.8i LS Cavalier WIP
You have to take the insides out of the cav tumble and replace them in the same order into the Vectra lock. My local garage did it for me on Thursday.
