1992 - Smoke Grey 1.8i LS Cavalier WIP
Acquired this car 10th October 2006 - bought from a VXon user called Girl Racer after inspecting it with Cav TD GLS from VXon.
Relatively happy with the car, although she has needed some work. This thread will act as a WIP as I work on her and bring her up to a gleaming example of a cavalier.
If your going to post here, keep it constructive or hit the back button now please. Ta.

Re: 1992 - Smoke Grey 1.8i LS Cavalier WIP
Engine was and still in rather filthy.
I'm looking to see what can be done to clean up a spare rocker cover I have in my possesion.
This picture was taken next to St Paul's Church in Jarrow - just after it had been washed - scrubs up rather well for a car that doesnt appear to have been looked after previously.

Re: 1992 - Smoke Grey 1.8i LS Cavalier WIP
Ta, yeah a bit of work has gone into it now - Needs a new pair of wishbones which I acquired on eBay for £27.00 delivered which will hopefully tighten the front end back up. I have some power flex poly bushes to fit to the Anti Roll Bar links (which are also being renewed as they look original to the car (plus one is bent).
One day I'll be happy enough to stop (I think)

Re: 1992 - Smoke Grey 1.8i LS Cavalier WIP
Well, new speakers arrived today (Thanks for sending them so promptly Trish )
Should be installed tomorrow, hopefully with my heated door mirror looms (assuming I prep and solder them up tonight
Might even get the Vectra door handles in the fronts at least too - see how productive I feel in the morning.
Car is well over due a wash though..

Well,
I finally got round to fitting the door speakers. The door handles and loom mods are on hold for the time being.

Well,
Engine is now installwd and runs (when i do some giggerly pokery with the fuel pump wiring)
Unfortunatly a few slight issues have arisen
gearbox doesnt like holding its oil any more
I no longer have power steering (at this time)
need to purchase a diesel header tank, or length of rubber hosing.
