Here's a couple of pics of my cav after a good wash and polish (of course)! Tried a set of 17s on once but didn't seem to look right. I think the rear sits a little higher than front but I love the way she sits on the 15's. Sorry about the low quality pics but these were kind of rushed.
Was looking at a few pictures of a cav in this site. M447 TFR (sorry dunno who owns it), and wondered if anyone could enlighten me as to where the bottom piece of the front bumper comes from. Thanks and apologies if I have posted pics in the wrong forum.

Yea 60mm drop but I think it may be the pic that makes the camber look bad. Like I say, they were a bit rushed lol
Since those pics I've added tinted windows and debadged the grille.

That's her good side! lol There's a little laquer peel on the other side and rear arch needs some attention. Hopefully that'll be later this year or next

It is really low. A little too low to be honest. It looks great I think but it's so bloody bumpy, and with about 2000 speed bumps in Stewarton it's hellish getting round the town but I have kept my old springs so no doubt at some point they will go back on.

Hi folks, i know i'm not on here much but just thought i'd update my cav pics if that's cool. Not much has happened with the ol' girl until just recently. I got a hold of an xe calibra dirt cheap and just today finished getting the engine in. Other changes are a gsi front bumper. Anyway, here's the pics
the donor car
and in mine
The cambelt cover is still off to get painted black but that'll be this weekend. She runs sweet but we're having a little trouble getting the gears adjusted correctly but will spend more time fiddling at the weekend. What do ya's reckon?

if your having issues with the linkage it normally means its a bit worn, are you doing it by locking the box or just holding it in position?
just holding the gearstick in position. I drove the calibra previously and it was fine so I reckon maybe we're just not doin it right haha any tips would be appreciated

Loosen off the 13mm where it joins from the car to the linkage
Pull the gear gaitor off and you will see a hole near reverse and one that matches in the gearleaver holder, shove an allen key/drill bit./screwdriver in the hole so its held tight together
Now on the gearbox on the back of the selector turret you will see a hole or a black plastic plug thing (pull it out to make it a hole) now shove a 4mm drillbit into the hole and then twist the linkage till the drill bit drops further into the hole now the whole linkage will be stuck, tighten up the 13mm and remove the drillbits and it should be done.
thanks guys. originally was a p1ss poor 2.0ne, then an seh which was a big improvement, but that was more of a necessity haha the xe was through choice. I bought the cally for £150, and sold my seh with box, loom and stuff for that so the cally was a free car. running wise, it goes sweet and sounds good apart from the gear issues but thanks to Gaz, that will hopefully be sorted soon. Haven had a chance to drive it really yet so I'm hoping for as few teething problems as possible

cant complain at an xe for 150 quid, let alone clawing it back in sale of your old engine, and presumably you can grab a load more donor parts off of the calibra before you weigh it in. result all round!
