Really nice mate, i don't normally like them, but they give your car an agressive look - i'd move out of your way if you came up behind me lol :thumb :wave

done a bit today, removed side skirts, and sills were unchanged from last year, no rust and still solid, so re applied a fresh coat of underseal and refitted skirts

then start to clean, paint and underseal the back end

well at the least it should look clean and tidy when its finished.

Good to see theres no rust coming through. How did you take the side skirts off without braking the clips? Do you push them to one side or something?

i was about to ask the same thing; i thought that taking skirts off was terminal for most of the clips. good work though, nice to see in good nick underneath.

had an hour on the cav today, couldnt do much more as it was bloody freezing, cleaned, undersealed and painted a bit more, not happy with the hamerite " Hammered" finish, but its looks clean

Image

then got the cav out of the garage for the first time in weeks, as i wanted to run the engine without filling the gare full of fumes, started first turn of the key, and ticked over fine, needs a good clean and polish as it bloody manky. lol

hey up mate my lads just got another cav a turbo but the izuzu type can't get on with his astra gsi turbo, it came with twin morretts they even had HIDs fitted , and yes they have been removed for standard although they are smoked of his old redtop which he broke, you will have seen this smoker as its well known
dressed up as a real turbo but in flame red paintwork , it has show its face on nearly every forum going  but its a saloon ,hatchbacks a ten a penny everyone got one, just got a bit of work to do on it swap rear beam for his polybushed version, the one thats on is drum 5 stud off a astra/zafira or something, then going back to the lad who owns it presently for him to test it up a few trivial jobs, nothing that can't be fixed easy, then back to us :thumb been looking for a decent saloon for a while
then it will be getting a good valet as been off road for 14mths
