my cav has been off the road a few week now, and it getting a bit of a make over during the winter months, it wont be back on the roads until next spring, some pics of the work so far,
boot floor all cleaned and repainted
started to build my boot install, this is still to finish and wire up
next i removed the front seats so i could pull the carpet back to check the inner sills and floor
only rust i found was the small patch of surface rust seen in the fist pic, this has now been sorted
removed the front strut lower arm etc, and re undersealed the inner wing area
then decide to change all the running gear from red to yellow (some people might think it looks crap, but it looks nice and clean).
renewed lower arms, ball joint and drop links at the same time, track rod ends to be changed next, only took pics of one side, but
other side is the same.
fittrd xe inlet cam to give engine a bit more torque
bought a few bits of bling for the engine bay
vernier pulleys
chrome tank for power steering fluid
engine loom cover
3"" tophat
and dip stick and breather tube
and i also got this boost gauge fitted into the steering cowling,
thats all for now, but ive got loads more planned to do, and a few more parts to aquire,
post pics as i progress
thanks for looking Ads

Hi all, i havnt even seen the cav for about 5 weeks, as its locked away, but ive been getting a few parts to fit when i get to se it,
polished belt cover
a 3 gauge plate that fits into radio cage, ive got a volts gauge in now, but ive ordered a oil pressure and a oil temp gauge to go in, this will be fitted in the top radio din hole, with the radio in the bottm one
a singlr gauge pod for my boost gauge, this will be on top of the dash to the right of the steering wheel
and a walbro 255 fuel pump
hope to get these fitted sometime.

im not a huge fan of the silver/grey cavaliers tbh but the combination of the black wheels really brings it to life. love this pic:
