The Vanny Magnet

Post by Mark »

Just thought I'd show the Van I built a while back.

1998 MK4 Astravan 1.7TD, bought from my old employer for £300 with a blown gearbox..Spent a fair bit, but it was worth it in the end. Full blow over in red again, and a few choice bits.

The beginning..

that looks good mate, see when you say a full blow over, is that just another term for a respray?

Yes mate, respray in same colour.

I'll put a thread up for the turbo later.

I would have liked to keep it and fit a redtop, but it was the van or a Cav turbo...The cav won.

I think it has something to do with numbers...you see less modded vans than cars and that makes you take a bit more notice.
