More excellent progress as usuall..

Those gold alloys look just like the alloys on my mate's TT. I think he said they were BK too.

Looks ace mate, do like those rims too. I used to dream of doing something similar with a Belmont.

yes i believe it is.

i cant believe i have done it. im very proud, long live the cavalier

still to do list

replace rev counter
paint sills and inner wings
clean boot remove surface rust and repaint.
definately gonna fit throttle bodies and do head work to increase the power output.
190 - 200bhp would be adequate for me
gonna build a megasquirt ms2 v3 to control engine. gonna fit all the parts into a stripped motronic ecu and wire it so standard loom and plug can be used

Like I said in my own WIP,

After meeting Troy today, and his trusty steed in the metal,
I can honestly say that the photos just do not do the work any justice.

Really handsome car - especially when adorning the space next to mine on our car park.. :love

Also - after referring to the Halfords Owners Manual, - my strut tops are the correct way, up.. I will show you when you pop back round again at the weekend ;)
