wip on my cav turbo

thought i would post some pics of the wip on my cav turbo, it been off the road snce october time, work has not progressed as fast as would of liked as i have been working on my cav gsi that was destined for the scrappie, pics of turbo before it was laid up for the winter.

pics of work carried out so far, like i said not much but its a start.

old transfer box dropped out

new locked trannie box fitted, so car will run 4wd for the first time since i bought it

side skirts removed to reveal only very light surface rust, pics of passenger side untreated

pics of drivers side after sanding down to bare metal ,rustproofed, and undersealed

front end stripped out, sanded rustproofed, and sprayed in anti-corrosive primer

leave that be for now mate and fit the 3.0 in place of my knacked 2.5 in mine for me :P

a bit more progress with the cav turbo, removed my eds intercooler and replaced with a vivaro one, the reason for this is i want to put my foglights back into the bumper, and could not do this with the other intercooler in

also cut the bumper beamto fit around the top of the intercooler,this was also cleaned and sprayed black

the full front end has been cleaned preped ,primered, and sprayed in smoke grey

also re fitted headlights , indicators, and foglights, but have o pics of this at the moment

I love this car reminds me of my old gsi except my gsi was a nail and thats really nice

Would Appreiciate it more if you were working on my car :-p
