Good work on the tyres.

Are you still using it as your daily driver?

Yes James still the daily but with working in London it only gets used at the weekend, the wife uses it occasionally though.

Well update time but no pics fitted a replacement headlining from a hatchback that I got from cavaliersri130 free of charge, after several failed attempts trying to glue my one back in place, found out that hatch one's are about 2" longer at the back so out came the scissors 5 minutes later they are the same & now it fits perfectly & now I can finally see out the back window. Next on my list is to fit a trip computer or DID in place of the analog clock.

Well I've been a bit busy changing things with a few more to do

Managed to get a brand new Intermotor dual output sender for the bargain price of £27 delivered. They are the grey / white dials I have the speedo dials to match but that's a job for another day

Good healthy readings on those gauges.

Pity they never did those gauges with a black background to match standard instruments.

A nice simple upgrade.
Makes the dash look a twidge more modern.

Did you know that if you are really careful, you can peel the filter layer from the LCD panel.
Flip it over, and you end up with orange digits on a black back ground.

Funky monkeys :cool

Well with the impending doom the dreaded MOT approaching I availed myself of Mr McGrath's Tech 1 services to extinguish my airbag light, within 5 minutes of plugging in the light that had been on since I changed the steering wheel finally went out, Success then he went on to check all the other sensors all good there, so spent the next hour chatting before departing for home.

What a total pain .

It is a massive blow at any time, but made even worse by the fact that most people will be totally spent up due to Christmas.

So much for "Season of Good Will"

Probably a drink driver or someone who simply cannot park.
I hope they catch the culprit and cut off their hands.

I think that they should bring back capital punishment - Anyone who dares to touch my cav should be hung, drawn and quartered.

2 years in a row the cav has surprised me & went through the MOT with no advisories :cool happy days. The tester even said to me that's it's a good solid shell.

Done a little bit of fettling rear boot badge fell off a while ago so replaced it with a more modern one from an old wheel trim I found & prised the badge out of, it also matches the one's I fitted to my alloy wheel center's.
Image

I'll trim the clear glue off when it dries properly looks OK from a distance though, perfect fit in the recess left by the old badge bit of luck.

You can just see my GSI in the back ground.

That looks like the same size badge I bought at a boot sale a couple of years ago.
Guy had a box of them at 50p each!

That looks pretty tidy.
That should do nicely.

I cannot think of many people with bonnet and boot badges that are in good condition.

I know mine are pretty well tatered.
Although I didn't realise until you, me and Alan were talking at VauxFest.

Quite funny, as I remember us three and Mike (James' dad) putting the world to rights.
