hmmn... the pics in that ad are about five years old. that's quite misleading, and from the sounds of it the description doesn't really tie in with the condition of the car now, in fact it sounds like it's been pretty much neglected. this is odd too:

"Previous owner told me he installed a 3.2v6 but he never could confirm this"

could always look on the side of the block? hmm. i doubt thats true... especially as "cams" are fitted as a modification. must run like a dog then cos if it's a 3.2 you wouldnt go fitting the (presumably) G 3.0 cams? most likely its a 2.5 with G inlet cams from an x30xe.

i would recommend getting hold of some pics as it sits now before making the trek all the way up there, not to say its not a decent car, but there's no way that if the description is correct that those pics are representative of the condition of the car now.

so anyone managed to see this yet? less than four hours to go. i note it has no MOT... and bits of the kit are missing. this is a bit of a wild claim "220bhp", even with 'cams'. and by the sounds of it you'll have to like driving without traction control; you don't have much choice hahaha!

i think on some v6s its there you just dont have the button? cav traction control unit is a bit old fashioned; big bit of kit sits inbetween throttle body and upper inlet manifold.

I wouldnt go near this with a barge pole to be honest, as stated the pictures are around 5 years old, the lpg was removed from the car a long time ago, lost track of it the last few years but it was already showing signs of neglect a few years back, avoid!

I just read through that, I love the elaborate explanation as to why the traction control works but doesn't really, really impressive, could almost believe it!
"No the temperature gauge doesn't work........
we've driven 150 miles today........
the heater went cold last Thursday........
they check the level when it's serviced don't they?"
