Re: my v6 cdx
Have ordered all parts for the cav so can get it though the mot. Only £40 for the lot. So just got to get it back home so can start doing some of the work.
As far as welding goes not shore what to do yet. Gotta ask around see who I know who can weld and is willing to do the work cheap, if not I'll be paying garage to do it.

Re: my v6 cdx
Nice work, remember seeing it on the bay of e...
Good to see one saved from the scrappers for a change, too many good cavs being broken down for bits nowadays.

Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

The spare is the right alloy lol and I have 5 spare center caps for the original alloys.lowrider dave wrote:Good work, another V6 saved! I really like your alloys.

Re: my v6 cdx
Have saved everything that I can. But have broken the drivers side floor trim bit that covers the wiring loom and sound deadering was drenched so hat to go in the bin. . Everything else is still ok. Would like to sell the engine whole but would split it if could sell most of it quickly.

Re: my v6 cdx
it's on its way just finishing a quick job then i'll get it to you within the next hour or two, abs sensors are definite though.
looking at the pic of the floor above it looks like youre missing the drain hole plug which has meant that water has blown in and has been sitting in the channel under the floor soundproofing. i had a similar problem with turbo #2 when i ripped the flooring out, although wasn't quite as bad as yours. you can't win as the water gets sponged into the flooring if the scuttle/matrix die and sits there, or flicks up through the floor holes if the bung is missing!
time to get cutting and welding! haha!
