Barry Butler's 24k GSi2000

Post by humbucker »

I was covering a Heritage Centre meet a week or so ago for Total Vauxhall and while I was there I was on the hunt for some of the more unusual cars in attendance. One that caught my eye was this (which I thought you might like to see!); Barry Butler's Cavalier GSi2000. He's owned it from new, no restoration at all, just the wheels and the DTM decals that he made and applied himself. It has just 24k miles on the clock which is why it looks so mint. Pics don't really do it justice tbh but here you go. Look out for a small feature on it in my roundup of the event in a forthcoming issue of the magazine:

Our photographer took a load more, I just took a few snaps so that I had something to refer to when I wrote the feature; they're the ones I posted up. The snapper can post some more when the article is out of print. I'll have a look to see if I can find any more from the day though.

Fab car & have to admit I love white Gsi's . I agree with Deek though , I'd prefer to see it without the chips & the wheels back to their original colour . Each to their own though for individuality :)
