Keep getting this almost daily:

After a while it's ok again. :scratch

Fair enough, I was seeing if anyone else had the same issue, to make sure it's not just my browser.

Too many connections to the database, hosting error. Should be fixed though, post back here if you're still experiencing problems.

Indeed I was getting a DNS error all day yesterday until late evening.

Like you say - seems to be sorted now.

I don't write much these days, but I do pop in two or three times every day,
I only struggle to log in once or twice a month.

Normally it is my mobile internet provider, but yesterday I could get all other sites except here.

Oh right, I did wonder about the membership fees, I guess you guys aren't looking for anything then... I've paid it before, but not heard much for the past couple of years.
