Can we filter the word "Cavy" please and change it to Cav or Cavalier..

I know its just one of my pet hates, but damn its getting right on my nerves at the minute..

Well Sorry to disapoint you two, But "Cavy", is the name of my of my cavalier. My 2 Toyota avensis's where

1st one called "Avy"

and my newest one "Toya"

So I'll keep calling my cavalier "Cavy" as that is her name. But I never discribe other cavaliers as Cavy's, its either Cav or Cavalier.

First Cavalier CDX lasted 6weeks before a old man wrote it off. "The Black Beast", (She was black)

Volvo 440, £200 rust heap, with "69" numbers on the doors, NOS sticker on the back and White letters on the tyres "KINGPINS"

He was called "THE DREAM MACHINE"

and my old company car. a crappy under powered peugoet 307.. "LE PEP",, because of His stupid french gay sounding horn.

cavmk3oc isn't a dictatorship, im not gonna do it because its a bit annoying (doesn't bother me in the slightest) we are all adults and have all the right to call our cars whatever we want.

This isn't a jibe at you HARIBO, but when ever i say cavy in the street, around friends, in the pub or even at work.
Someone always says.... "you mean you have a chavy?"

It's really really annoying, hence why i no longer your the word cavy to describe a cavalier.

The other thing that people seem to think (this applies to Americans) is when you say cavy, they think you mean that god awful Chevrolet Cavalier.

ive owned cavs for quite a few years now and dont mind or care what people call them as long as they dont say"oh its like a 4 door Calibra"

So to you it might just be a car. but some people get very attatched to there Mechaniacal device.

I hardly use my car to get from A to B.

Its just A to A, but with a nice long enjoyable drive along the way.

I know all about A to A via nowhere... along with A to B.... via C, D, E and F..... occasionally G too....

and i doubt you'd get many airmen saying "good luck to all to sail in her...."

Just dont want this site getting like VXON,,,,, as some ppl on there just seam to spend their time reading threats just to find and pick faults........

I was only messin, i know plenty of people who name their cars. I normally name mine when it breaks down for those names are certainly not for general transmission

It dont realy bother me when I talk about my car to mates and so on its the Chav Shalg

ha ha or the Cav to be honest tho when i first seen Cavy I was like

but it dont bother me now.
