I'd be interested to know what effect ticking the box "log me in automatically on each visit" (I may have got the words slightly wrong) has. Just seems to slow things down, doesn't do away with the password. Rocket science?

Creates a cookie so you don't have to re-type your password.Telegram Sam wrote:I'd be interested to know what effect ticking the box "log me in automatically on each visit" (I may have got the words slightly wrong) has. Ah - cookie seems to work when I click on the email link, but not when I visit the site "cold".

Re: Logging in
Most likely a setting in your browser or corrupt internet cache. If you know all your passwords that you may have saved i would dump your temp internet files and see if that fixes it. Also make sure you have the www.vauxhallcavalier.com rather than just cavmk3oc.com in the address bar.

Re: Logging in
I clean out temp internet files daily but this time even responding to the email link I had to sign in as normal. On the other hand it's no real pain to log in with the password (as normal) and I'd prefer to spend the time getting my axle fixed rather than ...ing around with obscure browser (Chrome) settings!
