Board time

Anyone else noticed that the time on the forum is 5 minutes fast?

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

It's 55 minutes slow my end....but I really haven't ever noticed before so will consider it irrelevant. I have a chicken in the oven however who would probably have welcomed the extra hour.

Ye it's not a problem or anything, it's just weird when someone replies to a thread that I've posted on and I look from the board index at the time of posting and it's 5 minutes ahead... Never used to be like that, hence I posted about it.

You can change the settings locally in your User CP if you want to view a different time zone. I'm not suggesting that you want to see what the board looks like if you're viewing it in Los Angeles, however, you might not have daylight saving time enabled in your local settings which would result in an hours difference at certain times of the year.

It's just the display time for your user acc though, it doesn't affect the way the server/board reads the posts and how it orders them e.g. if you think you're viewing the board an hour out, it doesn't mean that your posts appear out of sync with others, it's just a preference in your local settings, much like changing the theme of the board (if we allowed you to do that haha!)
