PM seems stuck in outbox

PM seems stuck in outbox
I tried to send a PM and although it gives a time & date sent it is still showing as in the outbox. I've not had a reply so guess that it has not been sent. It was asking for further details of a Cav. For sale so nothing contentious. Any ideas?

It stays in your outbox until the recipient reads it.
There's nothing wrong and it will have sent, it's just that they haven't read it yet.

It appears that the person that you sent the message to has not visited the forum since.
In his post, he asks interested parties to phone him directly.
Must admit that I would never put any of my contact details on a public facing forum. Definitely not my phone number as there are a lot of crack-pots out there.
