It just popped into my head that i see member's birthdays popping up here and there on the main forum page, so why not set up a section for birthdays so people can give shout-outs and congrats etc. It wouldnt clutter up the main Lounge section that way

maybe just a dedicated post/thread in the lounge section would suffice, keep all bday shouts to one post within all the other social stuff rather than a whole new section?

Not sure it really requires a section all of it's own to be fair. A thread per person isn't too bad - it will drop off view after a few days or so.
